Black Garlic is essentially aged fresh garlic which has undergone a process of fermentation during which time the color changes naturally.
Black Garlic is believed to have a higher content of allicin, amino acids and antioxidants compared to its original white garlic counterpart. In addition, Black Garlic contains higher concentrations of S-Allycysteine (SAC) which increases the absorption of allicin within the body. As a result, it is understood to improve the effectiveness and potency of garlic oil. Overall, Black Garlic helps maintain a healthy heart, provides support for high blood pressure and poor circulation.
